In 2017, we moved from a suburban neighborhood to 15 acres in the country. Hubby wanted to move out in the country to build a motocross track.

A motocross track ended up to be a lot of work, which lasted for a few years. Change of plans………..let’s raise pigs!

The motocross track is now a pasture full of piggies. The front pasture we enjoy raising various types of poultry……egg laying chickens, meat chickens, guinea hens, peacocks, ducks, geese and the 2 Nubian goats that love living with all these birds.

Along with raising our own meat we also have a large garden which provides fresh produce for us and others for a year. It is so important to know where your food is grown and how it is grown. This has been such a great learning experience for us and we love sharing it with others.
